Salary: £35,114 – £39,452 (includes flexibility payment)

Shift: 4 on / 4 off (days and nights)

Job Role of the Warehouse Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a leading food manufacturing business. This is an exciting chance to lead a small, dynamic team in a newly acquired warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

You will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will maintain accurate inventory, train and onboard team members, optimize processes, and promote a safe and organized warehouse environment. You will also track KPIs, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Warehouse Team Leader

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with proven experience supervising a warehouse team.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or food manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Warehouse Team Leader

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional, positive, and responsible attitude.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of honesty and integrity.
  • Proficient in computer/IT systems.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Ability to train and develop team members effectively.

Desirable Requirements for the Warehouse Team Leader

  • Previous experience in a food-based manufacturing environment.
