Job Title - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location - Leeds

Salary: up to £33,000

Shift: Monday- Friday Days + callout

Job Role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for mechanical fault-finding, breakdown response, and planned maintenance activities on production machinery, supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Must be able to weld, fabricate, work on pneumatics and hydraulics
• Must live within 30mins of site due to callout

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience stripping down machinery, changing gears, bearings, gear boxes and maintaining machinery to prevent breakdowns.

Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working within the UK manufacturing sector.
