Location: Bebington, Wirral 

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one a large site for a FMCG manufacturer. This is a heavily automated and high volume, where engineering plays a critical role in performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This role would suit a mechanically or electrically biased engineer who is driven, forward-thinking, and genuinely motivated to make improvements rather than just keep the lines running. The site is known for ongoing investment in modern machinery, automation projects, and engineering development, offering a strong platform for long-term career growth.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping production and packaging lines operating at peak performance. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver effective reactive maintenance, robust planned preventative maintenance, and contribute to improvement initiatives that enhance reliability and reduce downtime.

Essential Requirements - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Multi-skilled maintenance background (electrical or mechanical bias)
• Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills 
• Experience with both PPMs and reactive breakdowns
• Proactive mindset with a passion for improvement and problem-solving
