I am currently working with a well-established and highly successful FMCG manufacturer, recognised as a market leader within its sector, to recruit a Maintenance Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias for their modern production facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a business that places strong value on its people, promotes a positive and collaborative working environment. The company is seeking a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced FMCG environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of reliability and safety.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams, carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the site.

Essential requirements of Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical or Electrical bias
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
• Experience working manufacturing environment
• Ideally worked in within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proven ability in planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
• Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills on automated production machinery
• Proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and contribute to the wider engineering team
