Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wrexham, North Wales
Salary: £45,000
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity has come to market for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing FMCG manufacturing business that continues to invest heavily in its site infrastructure, utilities, and engineering capability.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving site services and facilities across the wider site, ensuring utilities, infrastructure, and non-production assets are operating safely and efficiently. This role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems, pumps, electrical and mechanical services, while also supporting site improvements and energy-saving initiatives.

Sector – Factory Maintenance / FMCG Manufacturing

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical).

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Mechanical and electrical capability
• Understanding of statutory compliance and maintenance documentation.

Desirable requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience maintaining facilities, utilities or site infrastructure.
• Experience with HVAC systems, pumps, electrical and mechanical services.
• Ability to manage planned preventative maintenance through CMMS systems.
• Understanding of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.

The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:

• Salary of £45,000 per annum.
• Monday to Friday working pattern (7:00am – 4:30pm).
