Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location - Dudley, West Midlands.

Salary: £36,000

Shift: 3 Shift Pattern (Days, Afternoons, Nights)

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A strong opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established industrial manufacturing business known for its reliability and consistent production standards. This role offers the chance to work within a fast-paced environment where engineering plays a key role in operational success.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and/or mechanical maintenance depending on your bias, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting the ongoing efficiency and reliability of site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Maintenance engineering experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Either mechanical or electrical bias (must be confident working within your core discipline)
• Experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced environment

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong fault-finding skills within either mechanical or electrical systems
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Experience working within an industrial manufacturing setting
• Ability to work a rotating 3 shift pattern (days, afternoons, nights)

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
• Basic PLC knowledge or fault-finding capability
• Experience working on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, or automated machinery
