MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location - Cockburnspath, Scotland
Salary: £40,000 (depending on experience)
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days Only)
Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A strong opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a respected, industry-leading industrial manufacturing business with a reputation for excellence. You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Sector - Industrial Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Must hold a recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment
Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Proven experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to work independently on a days-only continental shift pattern
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
- Experience working with PLC systems, including basic fault finding using inputs and outputs
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience supporting reliability initiatives
