Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly successful manufacturing business. The company is a leading producer and has built an excellent reputation through continuous investment in its people, machinery, and manufacturing processes.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring production equipment is operating efficiently. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high levels of equipment reliability across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical). HNC Preferd 
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.

Desirable for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience fault finding on PLCs using inputs and outputs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extrusion, injection moulding, or automated production machinery.
