£27,000 – £30,000 per annum
12-hour shifts, 7am – 7pm | 42.5 hours per week

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and improving the company’s technical quality and food safety standards. Working closely with Technical and Operations teams, you’ll ensure compliance, conduct audits, analyse data, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and verify food safety and technical standards in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct GMP audits and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are consistently followed.

  • Deliver environmental, product, and personnel monitoring programs, analysing results for trends.

  • Support HACCP validations, traceability exercises, and mock recalls.

  • Approve and verify production documentation, including temperature logs and calibration checks.

  • Lead root cause analyses and investigations into non-conformances.

  • Collaborate with New Product Development teams to ensure quality controls for new raw materials.


About You

  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of technical management systems and food safety compliance.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to coach and influence cross-functional teams.
