Job Role of the Machine Technician

You will be responsible for carrying out machine maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance activities across a range of production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production targets and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Machine Technician

• Previous machine maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Machine Technician

• Proven machine maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

Desirable Requirements for the Machine Technician

• Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering).
• Experience working within food, FMCG, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge.
