Are you an organised and proactive planner with experience in manufacturing or production environments? We’re seeking a Raw Materials Planner to join a growing and dynamic pet products manufacturer based in North Scarle, Lincolnshire.

About the Role

As a Raw Materials Planner, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw materials to support the production schedule. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you’ll be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and resolving any supply chain issues before they impact production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and raise purchase orders for raw materials in line with production forecasts and schedules.

  • Collaborate with the Intake Manager and wider team to ensure timely arrival and unloading of materials.

  • Participate in weekly planning meetings, highlighting potential supply challenges.

  • Coordinate inter-site material transfers to prevent stock-outs and reduce waste.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

  • Complete import documentation for overseas deliveries.

  • Upload and maintain accurate pricing and contract information to business systems.

  • Support stock control activities, including reconciliations and system corrections when required.

About You

You’ll be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. A background in supply chain, production planning, or materials coordination is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in production or materials planning.

  • Strong Excel and data management skills.

  • Ability to build strong supplier relationships.

  • Excellent communication and time management.
