STORES OPERATIVE

Location: Wrexham (Bryn Lane area)
Salary: £27,954 per annum + enhanced shift rates
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? A leading industrial services provider is looking for a Stores Operative to join their team on-site at a major food manufacturing facility.

About the Role

You’ll be a vital part of the on-site stores team, ensuring goods are accurately received, recorded, and issued to engineering teams. It’s a varied role involving inventory control, customer service, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking in/out deliveries and completing documentation

• Assisting engineers at the trade counter

• Stock control and inventory counts

• Using IT systems for stock updates (training provided)

• Forklift operation (training available)

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Shift handovers and team communication

⏱️ Shifts & Pay

• Training (approx. 4 weeks):
  Mon–Thu: 6am–6pm | £12.76/hour

• Rota Options:

  • 4 on / 6 off Days & Nights: £18.23/hour

  • 4 on / 4 off Days & Nights: £14.59/hour

  • 12-hour shifts (10.5 hours paid with 1.5-hour break)

Overtime is rare but paid at 1.5x or 2x when available.

✅ What You’ll Need

• Previous warehouse or stores experience

• FLT Counterbalance experience a plus, but not essential – full training available

• Comfortable wearing full PPE and working on a food production site
