Are you ready to be part of something big from day one?

We are currently seeking Production Operators to join a brand-new, cutting-edge waste-to-energy facility set to process 600,000 tonnes of black bin waste annually. With state-of-the-art technology and a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation, this is a rare opportunity to play a crucial role in the operational launch and long-term performance of a major new site.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating and coordinating production processes to ensure stable and efficient site operations

  • Implementing and managing Process and Operational Safety Plans

  • Monitoring operational parameters to remain within design limits

  • Keeping production and material handling areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained

  • Coordinating with external service providers and technical equipment partners

  • Participating in improvement projects to enhance operational performance and compliance

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a factory, production, or heavy industrial environment

  • A mechanical mindset and practical understanding of operating equipment

  • A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, large-scale industrial facility

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive salary: £29,207 – £36,039 + 30% shift allowance = £37,700 – £46,800 total potential earnings

  • Bonus: Up to 2.5% annual bonus

  • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays, increasing to 31 days with long-term service (plus your birthday off after 2 years!)

  • Work with cutting-edge technology (60.5 MW turbines, advanced flue gas treatment systems)

  • Be part of a major environmental solution for UK waste management

  • Learn from leading equipment suppliers as systems are commissioned and optimised

A unique opportunity:

This is more than just a job—it’s your chance to join a completely new team at the start of a major operation. Whether you’re looking for technical development, long-term stability, or the excitement of helping shape a new facility, this role offers a rewarding next step in your production career.
