Overview of the Client Services Consultant Role 

The Client Services Consultant is responsible for developing and converting the interest created by our marketing team for our services and their leads into quality vacanciesOnce vacancy has been qualified, you will continue to play a significant role, alongside our delivery team, who will source suitable candidates to ensure that we meet the clients' requirements and provide a high level of service.  

You would also collaborate with other key members of the Client Services team to ensure that we maximise all business opportunities and provide innovative solutions to fulfil our client's recruitment needs.  

 
Client Services Consultant Responsibilities

  • Call and pipeline leads generated from the marketing and internal team and convert these into quality vacancies. 

  • Generate your own leads from a range of sources to call and pipeline and convert them into quality vacancies. 

  • Identify the scope of an opportunity by mapping out the business to target new client contacts and sites. 

  • Understand the clients' current and future hiring requirements and create a plan for supporting and fulfilling these. 

  • Create an effective call back system for new, lapsed, and existing clients to ensure that we maximise business opportunities and develop partnerships between Pioneer and the client. 

  • Monitor and collaborate on the delivery process to ensure we are meeting or exceeding client expectations. 

  • Carry out face to face meetings to enhance the business relationship with the client whilst also working to maximise business opportunities.   

  • Track all prospects and build a follow-up process to optimise our potential 'wins'. 

  • Carry out aftercare calls with all clients you have introduced to the business. 

  • Escalate high potential opportunities for partnering with clients through formal agreements such as Preferred Supplier Agreements (PSL). 

  • Share added value services with the client to promote and support long term relationships. 

 

Client Services Consultant Skills and Attributes 

  • Comfortable with objection handling. 

  • Client Services or business development experience gained in a fast-paced sales or recruitment environment.  

  • Evidence of identifying, pipelining, and developing client relationships. 

  • Takes a collaborative approach to all business opportunities both internally and externally. 

  • Has a systematic approach to pipelining clients and ensuring that follow-ups take place as agreed. 

  • Initiative and ideas for developing client relationships. 

  • Develop business relationships across all mediums such as; telephone, virtual, and face to face. 

 

Client Services Consultant Rewards and Incentives

  • Up to £27,000 basic salary + commission.
