We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Harrogate area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment offering a competitive salary, excellent job security and opportunities to develop their engineering skills.
The successful Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, ensuring equipment remains reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Engineer:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
-
Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns.

Complete PPM schedules to a high standard.

Carry out fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
-
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
-
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.

Ensure all engineering work is completed safely and efficiently.
Skills required for the Multi Skilled Engineer:

Multi Skilled Engineering background with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.

Engineering qualification – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent.

Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
