Job Role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced industrial factory.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair experience.

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Hands-on mechanical fault-finding and repair experience.
• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment.

Desirable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working with conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, motors, and other mechanical production equipment.
