Salary: Up to £43,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off - Monthly Rotation of Days and Nights

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford. The company continues to invest in new machinery, tooling and technology, offering a varied role within a well-established engineering team.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will carry out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance, with approximately 80% of the role focused on PPMs. They will work across high-volume production and processing machinery, water treatment plant, material handling systems, pneumatic equipment and cutting machinery, while also supporting continuous improvement projects and occasional installations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience with an electrical bias.
• Manufacturing or forces background.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
• Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience completing reactive breakdown repairs.
• Able to work independently and make decisions when required.

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience within a high-volume or process manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on automated production machinery.
• Knowledge of material handling and pneumatic systems.
• Experience supporting machinery installations or improvement projects.
• Apprenticeship background.

The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
