Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

A new exciting role has just become available with an industrial manufacturing client of ours in the Cheshire area. The role will be focussed on carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all the mechanical systems on the plant incluidng conveyors, packaging machines, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The successful maintenance engineer will have previously worked in a manufacturing or processing environment and have experience of working with large machinery. The maintenance engineer will also be tasked with carrying out root cause analysis and continuous improvement work.

Skills required for maintenance engineer:

· Mechanical Bias

· Engineering Qualification - Min Level 3.

· Experience of manufacturing/ Processing

· Experience working on large machinery

· Pre-planned/ reactive maintenance/continuous improvement/projects

The Maintenance engineer will benefit from:

Monday to Friday Days role (Mixture of Early, lates and Night Shifts)

1 Week of night shifts every 6 Weeks.
