Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £30,000

Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)

Location: Runcorn

My client is a successful manufacturer in the retail industry looking to add an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their growing team.

As a mechanical engineer you will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery, you will predominately work on your own however there will be other operators around.

80% of the role is ppm work and daily checks.

20% is continuous improvement and reactive

Skills required for maintenance engineer:

· Level 3 Mechanical qualification

· Sound mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, bearings, chains, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes etc

· PLC fault finding preferred

· Industrial manufacturing Experience

· Mechanical and electrical skills

· Pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and continuous improvement experience
