Overview of the Internal Recruiter Role: 

You would be a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for supporting the operational business in attracting, proactively sourcing, assessing, and securing high calibre candidates for Researcher to Consultant roles 

  • Deliver high quality proactively sourced candidates in keeping with the business requirements. 

  • Develop a strong external knowledge of your market to provide guidance and advice to hiring managers on aspects including competitor analysis, market analysis, and candidate profiling. 

  • Produce attractive advertising copy to post on all relevant job boards and social media. 

  • Utilise all the resources available to you to source candidates in your market. 

  • Pro-actively and professionally represent Pioneer Selection Ltd as an employer of choice. 

  • Proactively map out the sources for quality candidates in your market and look at ways to increase the volume of candidates generated from each source. 

  • Proactively promote the internal and external referral scheme to maximise candidate referrals. 

  • Ensure that the talent acquisition process is well-managed to successful completion with key internal and external stakeholders informed at each stage. 

  • Undertake thorough, fair and well-evidenced interviews with potential candidates, including briefing them on our interview process and effectively managing their expectations. 

  • Alongside the hiring manager maintain contact with candidates up until their start date to inform them of the onboarding process. 

  • Assist the Hiring Manager with the setup and on-boarding of new starters within Pioneer Selection.  

 

Personal skills: 

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills. 

  • Capable of active listening and understanding different views.   

  • Ability to influence and persuade.  

  • Sound problem-solving skills based on sound evidence. 

  • Proven organisational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Time mastery skills, particularly in prioritisation and planning. 

 

Preferred experience: 

  • Experienced in a fast-moving relationship-based contingency recruitment environment. 

  • Business development experience. 

  • Experience working in a growing business environment.  

  • Proven recruitment experience.  

 

Internal Recruitment Consultant Package: 

  • £25,000 - £30,000 basic salary + commission (£10,000 - £15,000 OTE). 

  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays rising with length of service and seniority. 

  • Flexible hours and hybrid working options.
