Job Title – Production Manager (Contract Packing / FMCG / Packaging Production Manager)

Location – Bradford (BD5), West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours)

Job Role

This Production Manager role is a brilliant opportunity to join a busy contract packing / FMCG site supplying major retailers where the Production Manager is central to keeping multiple production lines organised, running on time, and performing to target. As Production Manager, you’ll lead and develop Team Leaders and shopfloor teams while driving Lean / Kaizen improvements to boost efficiency, reduce rejects, and improve line performance. The Production Manager position offers real ownership across productivity, quality, hygiene and H&S, making it ideal for a hands-on leader who wants visibility and impact in a growing packaging business. Non-Negotiable Requirements of “Production Manager”

• Must have experience as a Production Manager / Production Supervisor / Shift Production Manager / Operations Supervisor (or equivalent).

Desireable Requirements of “Production Manager”

• Experience managing production lines to hit output targets and start-up times.
• Confidence coaching/developing Team Leaders and running appraisals/performance reviews.
• Good working knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement / Kaizen and driving measurable improvements.
• Strong focus on quality standards, traceability, and reducing rejects.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety, PPE compliance, and safe systems of work.
• Ability to communicate daily figures and collaborate with other departments to remove bottlenecks.
