Calibration Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 + OTE £45,000+
Candidates need to live in the Birmingham area
Overview:
A leading manufacturer providing services to the Manufacturing industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced calibration Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent move to join a company where you would have a high level of autonomy with scope to move into Specialist, managerial, planning and project positions once you have established yourself within the business. As Calibration Engineer you will be required to visit different manufacturing companies in the midlands area calibrating bespoke industrial equipment into these companies. The role will require electrical and mechanical skills and will involve travel on a day to day basis WHICH WILL ALSO INCLUDE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL ON A REGULAR BASIS. The role will also require some stay away in the UK on a regular basis when you are involved in large installs, this will be fully expenced. There will be training from the get go and this will be ongoing. A clean driving license will be required for the role as well as a valid passport and in return you will have the oppurtunity to work in a role whcih will see you visiting different parts of the world whilst constantly learning new skills with the opputunity to earn an uncapped competetive salary. As mentioned the role will require stay away and travel on a weekly basis so please only apply if you can accomdate this
The Role of a Calibration Engineer:
- You will be visiting various sites in the UK and abroad
- Your role will also include calibration bespoke industrial machinery
- Your role will require you to stay away up to 4 nights a week
Key Skills:
- You will need to demonstrate experience in a field based calibration role
- You would have strong Electrical and Mechanical skills.
- Must have a UK driver’s license and passport
Benefits: Company vehicle, travel paid, meals paid, accomodation paid, £100 bonus for every day abroad
Candidates may have relevant experience having held roles as a: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer or Service Technician
