Project Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Bolton
Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 depending on experience + Benefits

Are you a Project Engineer with an electrical bias looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a highly motivated professional to manage and deliver engineering projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:

• Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring on-time, in-full, and on-budget delivery.
• Oversee PLC-based automation and electrical systems integration.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Manage contractors and key project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including GANTT charts, budgets, and risk assessments.

Requirements for the Project Engineer:

• 18th Edition Certification and strong electrical engineering expertise.
• Mnimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification
• HNC/HND or Engineering Degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of PLC automation, control systems, and project management methodologies (Prince 2, APMP desirable).
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
