Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a strong understanding of quality management systems and a passion for maintaining the highest standards? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic quality team and make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and complete daily reports on quality and safety.
• Manage and support two quality engineers.
• Assist with stock ordering to ensure operational efficiency.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues using the 8D process.
• Engage with new customers and handle new product introductions.
• Address and resolve quality issues effectively.
• Maintain detailed logs of quality issues and track resolutions.
• Manage paint quality and ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Meet with customers to discuss and resolve quality concerns.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in APQP, SMA, and 8D procedures.
• Experience with TS16949, ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Hands-on lab experience, including working with CMM and humidity chambers.
• Strong customer exposure and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
