 Site Operative – 4 on 4 off Days & Nights
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work safely, reporting any issues that may impact safety.
• Follow our SOPs and use PPE appropriately.
• Operate and monitor heavy machinery to meet daily production targets.
• Perform basic maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
• Carry out site clean-up duties, including walkways, rest areas, weighbridge, and vehicle routes.
• Conduct daily defect checks on Mobile and Fixed plants (Baler, Shredder, etc.).
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve issues.
• Undertake tasks as directed by the Shift Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with heavy machinery (granulators, shredders) – desirable but not essential.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative.
• Basic maintenance experience – desirable but not essential.
• Experience using Telehandlers and FLTs – desirable (training provided).
• An in-date FLT license is essential.
• Positive "can-do" attitude and flexible approach to tasks.
