We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Falkirk, Scotland. This pivotal role is responsible for driving productivity, quality, and efficiency while ensuring that health, safety, and quality standards are maintained across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Directly manage all department foremen and indirectly oversee the manufacturing staff, ensuring high motivation, training, and development.
• Operational Excellence: Meet key performance targets in productivity, delivery, safety, maintenance, and quality.
• Performance Management: Regularly report factory performance and key updates to the Director.
• Coordination: Direct internal projects, plan and integrate technical activities to meet production goals.
• Quality & Safety: Oversee implementation of quality control systems, health and safety practices, and adherence to company policies.
• Production Optimization: Coordinate all aspects of production operations, ensuring optimal space utilization, cost reduction, and enhanced productivity.
• Resource Management: Develop policies to maintain plant and equipment for maximum efficiency, building relationships with customers and suppliers to support smooth operations.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control the factory budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams to meet high standards in safety, productivity, and quality.
• Solid understanding of budget management and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
