Location: Wakefield, Liversedge
Salary: £46,000 + OTE £55,000-£60,000 
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
Pension: 7.5% employer contribution

Are you an experienced Machine Operator with at least 5 years in the industry? We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team, working on our slitting machines at the Wakefield site. This role offers excellent earning potential, with OTE up to £60,000 and a generous 7.5% pension contribution.

Role Overview
In this position, you’ll ensure production targets and quality standards are met, performing product changeovers, managing smooth start-ups and shutdowns, and troubleshooting as needed. With a focus on safety and quality, you’ll actively monitor and improve production processes and support your team in achieving optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Commit to and uphold OC safety protocols, reporting and acting on incidents promptly.
• Follow quality procedures, using tools such as AWAQS to meet customer standards.
• React to any deviations in specifications, escalating as required.
• Operate in line with SOPs, CILs, and continuous improvement practices.
• Maintain a well-organized workspace in line with 5S standards for smooth shift transitions.
• Communicate effectively across all shifts and with support teams to ensure seamless production.
• Provide training and support to colleagues and visitors as needed.
