Job Title: Contract Software Engineer - Commissioning (Siemens Platform)

Salary: Day rate dependant on experience 

Location: Yorkshire

Join a dynamic engineering team as a Software Engineer on a contract basis, focusing on cutting-edge software commissioning. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in high-stakes projects, applying your expertise in Siemens platforms and advanced automation technology. This opportunity promises hands-on experience with top-tier equipment in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on:

• Siemens TIA V19, including Safety protocols
• Siemens WinCC Unified HMI development
• Motion and Servo drives applications
• PackML and Keyence Vision integration
• Staubli robots (knowledge beneficial but not essential)

Skills required for Software Engineer:

• Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC systems
• Experience in motion and servo drives
• Strong PLC coding skills, especially in Siemens
• Knowledge of robotics, vision systems, and PackML
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates

The Software Engineer will benefit from:

• Fixed hours: Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm
• Ongoing training and hands-on experience
