Engineering Team Leader/ Hands on Engineering Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Shift: Double Days (6-2, 2-10)

Location: Bromborough, Merseyside

A new role has come available for a skilled hands on Engineering Manager or an Engineering Supervisor/Team Leader to join a Manufacturing company on the Wirral. The Successful Candidate needs to have previous leadership and management experience but also needs to be prepared to get stuck in on the tools as the role is around a 50/50 split between the two. This Engineering management role will suit somebody with a multi skilled background in Electrical and mechanical engineering, and also hold a good level of engineering qualification. The ideal background would be a bulk liquid handling company but any manufacturing background would be considered.

Skills required for Engineering Team Leader/ Hands on Engineering Manager:

• Management and Leadership Background
• Multi Skilled Background - Electrical and Mechanical
• Engineering Qualification (Preferably Degree or HND)
• Experience in Manufacturing
• Mechanical and electrical skills
• Experience of Planning Maintenance/Engineering work.
• Organising contractors.
• 50/50 Split between management and hands on
