Production Supervisor

Late Shift: 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: £35,000-£37,000 + 4% Pension + 31 Days Holiday 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our production team on the late shift. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production team, ensuring adherence to HR processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with the planning department to execute production plans in the most cost-effective manner.
• Offer valuable input and suggestions for enhancing company and production processes.
• Ensure timely completion of all tasks and training, using platforms such as BambooHR and Highspeed.
• Work closely with the Training Manager to ensure all team training is thorough, tracked, and in line with company guidelines.
• Lead your team with fairness and consistency, adhering to company people policies.
• Hold regular team meetings to address issues, provide constructive feedback, and manage all related paperwork.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members, setting SMART objectives to support their growth and development.
• Support and guide the team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor or team leader role
• Demonstrable leadership skills and experience within a leadership team.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
