I'm currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer position at a high-speed manufacturing company in Wakefield. I'm in search of a Mechanical Engineer who has a background working in either fast paced or industrial manufacturing. The successful mechanical engineer will benefit from an excellent personalised training programme, and will have the chance to really develop their skill set. In the role the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance, system breakdowns, defect repair and general upkeep of the production machines ensuring that system cleanliness and condition is kept to a high standard.

Skills required for the Mechanical Engineer:

• Have an electrical engineering qualification.
• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias.
• Response to equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
• Continuous improvements
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
