Engineering Manager - Manufacturing
Salary: £68,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits

Role Overview
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a dynamic team, ensuring excellence in equipment maintenance and the efficient operation of production lines. Your role will involve:
- Leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Planning Engineers, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Managing costs and resources, including waste control, labour, and spare parts, to optimise maintenance efficiency.
Overseeing the CMMS system to ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance activities.
Implementing innovative solutions to improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
Spearheading Capex projects, with a budget of around £800k, and contributing to the strategic direction of the site.
Ensuring the successful recruitment, training, and development of the engineering team.
Skills Required for Engineering Manager:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience managing a diverse team.
Expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
Experience with budget management and Capex projects.
A structured and organised approach to managing maintenance and engineering functions.
