Location: Stockport

An exciting new position at leading processing company for a Mechanical Fitter at their site in Stockport. I am in search for a Mechanical Fitter that has very strong welding skills, holding a mechanical qualification and needs to either come from or have experience in a heavy/industrial background. The Mechanical Fitter will provide technical support to develop the equipment and machinery, equipment reliability and maximize capability. Will also take part in supporting the facility in the planning and execution of all mechanical engineering tasks.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

• Have a mechanical engineering qualification.
• Strong Weldingl Skills
• Heavy or Industrial background
• Experience carrying out planned maintenance and attending breakdowns.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
