Production Manager – Manufacturing
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
A UK leading manufacturer of materials for various industries is currently recruiting for a Production Manager. Our client has been established for over 50 years and turns over is well into the millions due to securing a number of projects through their large client portfolio.
As a Production Manager you will be responsible for the whole production department, leading by example and in charge of production, planning, quality, strategy, with up to 30 direct reports. As a Production Manager you will also ensure that all employees and visitors are protected by Health and Safety practices. Motivation and communication are both disciplines that you will be experienced and comfortable in demonstrating.
Skills required for a Production Manager:
- Leadership and management experience
- Excellent continuous improvement and lean manufacturing experience
- Manufacturing and Production background
- The ability to fault find mechanically; bearings , belts, chains, hydraulics, Pneumatics.
