OPERATIONS MANAGER

Milton, Cambridgeshire

40 hours, Full Time, Permanent

£40,000 - £50,000 per Annum

We are currently recruiting for an industrial heavy manufacturing company in the Milton, Cambridge area who are looking for an Operations Manager. My client has a brand-new site and are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. From the moment you step onto site it is evident that the company oozes engineering excellence. The business is in the process of expanding its manufacturing site and potentially acquiring a new site in the north of England. Essential Requirements to be succesful as an Operations Manager are:

  • The successful Operations manager should be from an Industrial, Manufacturing or Armed Forces background.
  • The succesful Operations manager should have previous management and leadership experience. 
  • People Management – the ability to establish a clear sense of purpose and direction and win the commitment of others to implement actions necessary to achieve business targets.

  • Communications – the ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and employees at all levels.

  • Budgets and Planning – the ability to develop, communicate and implement clear budgets and manage the financial and performance variables of the Static Sites portfolio in order to achieve sustained profitability for the Company.

  • Client Orientation – the ability to build positive relationships with the customer in order to speedily resolve significant operational issues and sustain and enhance the level of profitable business arising from these relationships.

     

  • Performance Standards – the ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in the areas of safety quality, financial and operational performance within the areas of responsibility.

  • Resilience – the ability to maintain an objective and positive focus through periods of high and sustained work pressure.
