Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Earlies, lates, nights (Monday - Friday)

Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Preston, Lancashire

The successful applicant will be working as part of a team on a 3 shift rotation system to maintain the process equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing process.

As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for attending breakdowns within the processing plant in a timely manner to maintain a continuous flow of production. You will also be required to carry out planned preventative maintenance and bring ideas and solutions to consistently improve the way they do things.

Duties include planned and reactive maintenance, keeping downtime to a minimum ensuring all machinery runs to health and safety requirements.

Your rotations will include time in manufacturing, packaging, utilities & facilities and automation & control. At the beginning of each rotation, you will be set a series of objectives, so you will always know what is expected of you. You will report direct to me Peter Edmondson on a daily basis with shift reports with discussions regarding events within the day to day manufacturing.
