Maintenance Technician within Engineer Surveying

Salary: Basic up to £33,000, Benefits

Location:Warrington, Cheshire

A large inspection consultancy are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work from their brand new training centre in Warrington, Cheshire. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, operating and preparing equipment used in training courses as well as supporting the training centre manager with the day-to-day running of the centre. You will also be required to work alongside the Technical Team, Trainers and Engineer Surveyors to coordinate training courses. Skills required for an Maintenance Technician:

  • Experience of working on a variety of static, wheeled and tracked equipment. This can include cranes, excavators, diggers, dumpers etc.
  • A recognised Engineering Maintenance Qualification.
  • An ability to work on a independent basis and able to make decisions.
  • The ability to communicate complex and technical problems with ease.
  • Ideally, hold a HGV Driving Licence.
  • This position would suit candidates that have worked in either the Army, Navy or RAF as well as candidates that have worked on static, wheeled or tracked equipment with a site or field-based position.
