Maintenance Engineer - Days
My client, a renowned food manufacturer in the Pontypool area, are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer to grow their expanding business. As a maintenance engineer, you will be required to attend both electrical and mechanical faults across a variety of manufacturing and packaging machinery. The bulk of the work will most likely be mechanical, however, it is very important for the successful candidate to be more than competent electrically.
This is a days only role and the client is more than happy to be flexible with start and finish times. Joining this company will not only give you the chance to grow your career, but will enable you to work with hardworking people who really hold the 'team player' phrase as their motto.
Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Maintenance Engineer should be multi-skilled
- Maintenance Engineer must hold an engineering qualification
- Food, FMCG or packaging background
- Maintenance Engineer must be competent both electrically and mechanically
- Mechanical; Hydraulics, Belts, bearings, chains, pumps, valves
- Electrical; 3-phase, motors, invertors
