A leading manufacturer providing services to the Bakery industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. Our client is a market leading manufacturer of complex packaging & Bakery machinery serving a variety of manufacturing industries including consumer electronics, food and pharmaceuticals. Utilising excellent management and leadership the technical director has provided a catalyst for growth within the service department doubling the size of the service portfolio and a 100% increase in the number of service engineers. Due to the successful acquisition of leading contracts and reorganisation of the engineering hierarchy the need for a Field service engineer has arisen.

The Role of a Field Service Bakery Engineer:

As a field service engineer you will be based from home managing your own work load - on average you will be required to make one client visit a day as the machinery you will be working on is quite complex. Large industrial Bakery factories are the sites you will be visiting where you would be installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing a range of Bakery machinery.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate would have had experience in larger Bakery factories in either a site based or field service environment. You would have strong Electricall diagnostic skills. You would need to be able to demonstrate that you are both self motivated and flexible to be able to meet the needs of this growing business.

Benefits: Company car (fully expensed), Bonus 8%, Pension 24%, Life assurance, 25 days holiday

Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 + Overtime (Door to Door) (Average Earnings of £50,000 - £60,000)

 Candidates may have relevant experience having held roles as a: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer or Service Technician
