We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join this company based in Somerset This is a very challenigng role with lots of changes to implement which is good for a manager who is looking for a challenge. After recent investment, the business has developed a new hierarchy to develop a brand new engineering strategy. The Engineering Manager they are looking for will need to have a manufacturing background and understand a reactive maintenance environment whilst being able to Plan Preventative Maintenance schedules. As the business is going through rapid growth due to an increase in customer orders they have recently just added and engineer per shift to the team, of the back of this they have gone through a big hierarchical change that has lead to this new role.
The Engineering Manager will ideally come from a FMCG, Food, Packaging or Pharmacutical background. You will be responsible for all aspects of the factory, looking after ppm's and breakdowns, coaching and developing staff, recruitment, project work, delageting work, looking after contractors, KPI's, facility maintenance and much more. So there is a lot to sink your teeth into.
