Electronics Design Engineer

Salary: £45,000- £55,000

Location: Kent

This highly renowned company are part of an organisation that are respected and admired across their industry. Due to an increasing workload and the winning of new contracts they require an experienced design engineer ideally with strong solid works experience. This company design and manufacture customer tailored bespoke machines for a booming market. The role will involve using SolidWorks to create designs, drawings and models. You will be required to attend design meetings to communicate your ideas as well as taking part in design improvement reviews of existing machinery.

Skills required for Electronics Design Engineer:

• Need to be able to pull schematic designs from DFMEA's
• Switch mode power supply - control, digital, analogue
• Must have Thermal analysis experience
• Detailed circuit analysis experience
• Mentor Graphics - Xpedition, Xpedition EDA, PADS, EDM, Designer, Layout
• Saber/Simetrix Spice simulation tools
• Power supply & magnetics design experience key
• Solid Works experience
• Degree or similar qualification
• Machine design experience
